On July 23, 2008, Cookie Jar Entertainment acquired DIC Entertainment, CPLG and a one-third interest in international children's television channel, Kidsco. The acquisition doubled Cookie Jar's exceptional library of family programming and strengthened its capabilities in global merchandising and licensing.
