COOKIE JAR ENTERTAINMENT NAMES CARRIE DUMONT VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS AFFAIRS

TORONTO, CANADA (December 5, 2005) - Cookie Jar Entertainment has appointed Carrie Dumont to the position of Vice President of Business Affairs, effective immediately. The announcement was made by Toper Taylor, President and Chief Operating Officer of Cookie Jar Entertainment.
Dumont joins Cookie Jar Entertainment's Business Affairs group to lead its expanding property acquisition, development and merchandising activities. Dumont's immediate focus will be in overseeing agreements with the ever-expanding roster of partners involved in Cookie Jar's latest global television and merchandising sensation, The Doodlebops as well the company's other renowned classic preschool brand Caillou.
Dumont joins Cookie Jar following a decade-long tenure with NELVANA, where she was also Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs. Prior to NELVANA, Dumont served in private practice as Associate Counsel for a well-established Toronto law firm.
Dumont earned her J.D. from the Notre Dame Law School. She received her LL.B. from the Osgoode Hall Law School, York University in Toronto, and her B.Sc. from the The Catholic University of America, Washington D.C.
