COOKIE JAR ENTERTAINMENT NAMES HALLY A. BAYER DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIGITAL MEDIA Bayer to Direct Cookie Jar Entertainment's Digital Media Strategy

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 8, 2006) - Cookie Jar Entertainment has appointed Hally A. Bayer to the newly formed position of Director of Business Development Digital Media, effective immediately. It was announced by Ken Locker, Senior Vice President of Digital Media.
In her new position, Bayer is responsible for extending Cookie Jar Entertainment's acclaimed brands into the area of digital media, including online, wireless, gaming, interactive TV, video on demand and e-commerce. Headquartered in Cookie Jar Entertainment's Los Angeles offices, Bayer reports directly to Ken Locker.

Bayer joins Cookie Jar Entertainment from Scholastic Inc., where she lead Scholastic Book Clubs' marketing and merchandising efforts as Vice President Promotions. Prior to Scholastic, Bayer served as Vice President Planning & Development for the Nickelodeon Magazine Group. At Nickelodeon, Bayer expanded the magazine business internationally in the UK, Australia and Mexico and launched several new print products in the US.
Bayer began her media career at Grey Advertising in Account Management working on high-profile accounts with The Procter & Gamble Company and Kraft Foods. She earned her Masters of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University, and her Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College where she graduated Cum Laude.
Bayer joins Cookie Jar Entertainment at a time of explosive growth for the company. Cookie Jar's original live action series THE DOODLEBOPS enters its second season on the Disney Channel and continues to generate winning ratings and attract the industry's most prominent licensees. Cookie Jar's CAILLOU starts its fourth season as a staple on PBS and a major brand in key international markets.
