Caillou Heads To Preschool In Fourth Season Of Cookie Jar Entertainment's Critically Acclaimed Preschool Series

Los Angeles, CA (March 20, 2006) - The little boy who has captivated children in the United States and around the world grows up a bit and heads to preschool as PBS KIDS renews the renowned series Caillou for a fourth season, it was announced by Toper Taylor, President and Chief Operating Officer of Cookie Jar Entertainment.

In season #4, Caillou ventures out of the comforts of his home and neighborhood and heads to preschool! This new season also features an all-animated format including music videos and interactive learning segments with Caillou speaking directly to viewers.

Caillou shows children that growing-up is filled with wonder and delight. Whether going to the park or understanding one's own family, Caillou demonstrates how the first experiences of life can be perceived with a sense of discovery. Addressing real-world challenges, Caillou has emerged among television's most irresistible characters - a little boy in a very big world who has become embraced by children and parents alike.

The multi award-winning and critically-acclaimed animated series is based on the best-selling series of children's books. In addition to its popularity on PBS KIDS, Caillou remains a staple preschool animated series for viewers worldwide, airing on such prestigious international networks as TELETOON (Canada), Super RTL(Germany) and RTP (Portugal), to mention a few.

Caillou learns about the world around him one adventure at a time, portraying the relationship between small children and the world around them through universally appealing situations and stories that address real problems and conflicts typical to a young child's development.
