COOKIE JAR ENTERTAINMENT LICENSES THREE SERIES TO CARTOON NETWORK AND BOOMERANG LATIN AMERICA
GERALD MCBOING BOING, POSTCARDS FROM BUSTER and an all new season of JOHNNY TEST Will Be Broadcast Throughout the Region in 2007

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 12, 2007) - Cartoon Network and Boomerang Latin America will premiere two new titles from Cookie Jar Entertainment's acclaimed animated brands, including "Gerald McBoing Boing", "Postcards From Buster" and premiere the second season of "Johnny Test". Announcement of the Cookie Jar-Cartoon Network and Boomerang deal was made by Jean-Michel Ciszewski, Senior Vice-President International Sales and Co-Productions for Cookie Jar Entertainment.

Cartoon Network and Boomerang Latin America will launch the three Cookie Jar series in 2007.

"We are extremely delighted to extend our exciting association with Cartoon Network and Boomerang, two of the world's most successful and respected children's networks. "Postcards From Buster", "Gerald McBoing Boing", and "Johnny Test" are award-winning and critically-acclaimed animated series that have found an outstanding broadcast home in this important region of the world," said Olga Romero, Sales Executive for Cookie Jar Entertainment.

"We are pleased to continue our rewarding relationship with Cookie Jar and include their programs on our networks," said Cindy Kerr, Vice President of Programming and Acquisitions for Cartoon Network and Boomerang Latin America. "The inclusion of their shows on Cartoon Network and Boomerang will bring hours of fun and laughs to our viewers," concluded Kerr.

Aimed at children four to eight years old, "Gerald McBoing Boing" is the silliest show you'll ever hear, starring Gerald McCloy - a boy who talks in sounds instead of words! Combining the imaginative playfulness of Dr. Seuss with the broad physical comedy of classic silent films, each episode of "Gerald McBoing Boing" features a series of stylized comedic vignettes that overlap and connect in surprising ways.

"Postcards From Buster" centers on Buster traveling to various places around the United States - and beyond - with his father, a pilot for a pair of musicians. In each episode, Buster meets several children in the location being visited, who show him aspects of their family lives and local culture. The sequences with Buster are animated, while the portions featuring the children are live action (viewed from the viewpoint of Buster's video camcorder). After each trip, Buster sends to Arthur a "video postcard" videotape summarizing what he's done and who he's met in each location. The children and their families that are presented on the series are multicultural and diverse, ranging from a Mormon family in Utah to a mestizo family in Texas.

Cartoon Network has found success with the broadcast of the first season of "Johnny Test" throughout Latin America. "Johnny Test" chronicles the adventures of a fearless 11-year-old boy, his genetically engineered super dog, Dukey, and his 13-year-old super genius brainiac twin sisters, Susan and Mary, who use Johnny as their guinea pig for their out-of-this-world scientific experiments. Johnny is the ultimate test pilot where no mission is too unbelievable, no challenge is too great, no villain is too menacing - and no sister-created concoction is too wild. As long as his dog, Dukey, can come along, Johnny gives it a go!
