ARTHUR WINS FOURTH EMMY FOR OUTSTANDING CHILDREN'S ANIMATED PROGRAM

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 18, 2007) - The award-winning show "Arthur", produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment and WGBH, has just won the 2006 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Children's Animated Program. Entering its 11th season on PBS KIDS GO!, this is the fourth time that "Arthur" has received this prestigious award.

Produced by Cookie Jar Entertainment and WGBH Boston, "Arthur" is based on the best-selling book by Marc Brown. It is the highest-rated children's program on PBS among children ages 6-11. "Arthur" has won numerous awards, including six Daytime Emmys - four for Outstanding Children's Animated Program, the George Foster Peabody Award and a BAFTA. Executive producers are Pierre Valette (WGBH) and Lesley Taylor (Cookie Jar). Marc Brown is executive creative producer and Greg Bailey is the director.
