TORONTO, CANADA (August 8, 2007) - Reflecting the continued growth of it's original production slate, Cookie Jar Entertainment has named Susie Grondin the company's newest in-house producer. Based in Cookie Jar's Toronto headquarters, Grondin will be working on a number of series including "Will & Dewitt," one of Cookie Jar Entertainment's newest shows aimed at empowering young children. Grondin will report to Pamela Slavin, Vice-President Production.
"As Cookie Jar Entertainment continues to expand its original animation production, we aim to hire the best creative talent. Susie Grondin is a recognized animation producer who has had a very successful career and will be a great asset to the company. We look forward to utilizing her expertise to deliver the best possible quality programming to our broadcasters," said Slavin.
Grondin comes to Cookie Jar Entertainment with more than nine years of experience working in the Canadian animation industry. She has worked on many well-known children's programs, and was awarded an Emmy for her work as producer on the children's series "Rolie Polie Olie." Grondin studied Film Production at Concordia University.
