COOKIE JAR ENTERTAINMENT NAMES KIRSTEN HURD SALES EXECUTIVE

TORONTO, CANADA (January 21, 2008) Cookie Jar Entertainment has appointed Kirsten Hurd sales executive, it was announced today by Jean-Michel Ciszewski, SVP Head of International Sales and Co-Productions. Based in Cookie Jar's Toronto's headquarters, Hurd will be responsible for new programming and library sales.
"Cookie Jar is enjoying an extraordinary period of growth throughout the world," said Ciszewski. "We look forward to benefiting from Kirsten's experience and outstanding track record in international television sales as she joins our company's highly-skilled sales team."
With six years of international sales experience, Hurd has been responsible for sales in a wide range of territories including Latin America, Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, New Zealand, Australia and North America. Most recently, Hurd served as Sales Manager/International Sales for CBC. She also spent two years as a sales executive at Decode.
Hurd will be attending NATPE, and will be located at the Cookie Jar booth #1027.
