FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
LOS ANGELES (February 13, 2008) - Cookie Jar has signed a deal with Cartoon Network UK to air its newest show, "World of Quest" starting in 2009. The network has bought the first 26 episodes of the comedic action-adventure series that takes children into a quirky, imaginative and exciting new world.

"We are thrilled to have bought 'World of Quest' which will introduce viewers to an exciting medieval kingdom populated by an array of memorable characters," said Cecilia Persson, Vice President of Programming, Acquisition and Presentation, Cartoon Network UK. "Cookie Jar is a great innovator of original content and we're delighted that this series is coming to Cartoon Network."

"We look forward to once again teaming up with Cartoon Network to bring 'World of Quest' to the UK," said Alison Warner, Cookie Jar Entertainment VP of Distribution in the UK. "Two of Cookie Jar's most popular series', 'Johnny Test' and 'Caillou' have enjoyed success on the network and we are confident that 'World of Quest' will be a hit as well."

"World of Quest" is a comedic action series following the spoiled young Prince Nestor and his pumped up reluctant protector, Quest, and a rag-tag team of cohorts on mission to save Nestor's parents and their kingdom. Along Prince Nestor and Quest's travels they meet some weird and wonderful characters who liven up their journey.

The show is based on the Komikwerks graphic novel series by Jason Kruse and edited by Emmy Award winning Stephen Sustarsic, whose credits include Scooby-Doo, New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and The Flintstones Movie.
