COOKIE JAR NAMES JAMIE WAESE HEAD OF CURRENT PROGRAMMING

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
TORONTO, CANADA (March 17, 2009) – Cookie Jar Entertainment has named Jamie Waese Head of Current Programming. Reporting to Pam Slavin, Vice President, Head of Production, he will handle all creative elements of the company’s prolific production slate.

"Jamie is an industry veteran with a strong background in production and programming and will be a great asset to the company. We look forward to utilizing his expertise to deliver the best possible quality programming to our broadcasters," said Slavin.

For the past four years, Waese has worked as a writer, producer and director for Cookie Jar Entertainment. He wrote, produced and directed three seasons of "The Doodlebops", wrote and co-directed Doodlebops Live!, and produced and co-directed "Gotta Catch Santa Claus", Cookie Jar's first Christmas special starring William Shatner as the voice of Santa Claus.

Previously, Waese worked for Kids' CBC as an executive in charge of production and as a creative director. He also served as manager of current programming for Walt Disney TV Animation and creative executive for Hanna Barbera/Turner Feature Animation.

Waese earned an MFA from USC's Peter Stark Motion Picture Producing Program.
