COOKIE JAR ENTERTAINMENT APPOINTS GWEN MCCAULEY VP DISTRIBUTION/SALES OPERATIONS

TORONTO, CANADA (June 9, 2009) Cookie Jar Entertainment has hired Gwen McCauley as VP Distribution/Sales Operations for Canada. Based in Cookie Jar's Toronto headquarters, McCauley will develop and distribute programming that fits with Cookie Jar's brand and broadcaster needs. She will also lead all sales efforts throughout Canada including television pre-sales and library and home video entertainment. McCauley will report to Tom Mazza, EVP and Head of Worldwide TV.

"Cookie Jar Entertainment has enjoyed an extraordinary period of growth over the past five years," said Mazza. "We will benefit from Gwen's impressive industry knowledge and experience which will make her an extremely valuable asset to the company."

McCauley joins Cookie Jar Entertainment following 11 years at BBC Worldwide Canada Ltd. where she worked in the sales and co-productions departments, most recently as a vice president. She was responsible for the sales and distribution business across all genres for numerous clients within the English-speaking Canadian television market. McCauley also led all Digital Media business development initiatives in the market.
