COOKIE JAR ENTERTAINMENT'S GOTTA CATCH SANTA CLAUS MAKES ITS U.S. TELEVISION DEBUT ON ABC FAMILY
Holiday Special Starring William Shatner as the Voice of Santa to Air During Network's Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas

Burbank, CA (November 10, 2009) - ABC Family and Cookie Jar Entertainment are coming together this holiday season as the network airs the one-hour CGI-animated holiday special Gotta Catch Santa Claus, which will make its U.S. television debut during ABC Family's "Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas" on Wednesday, November 18 (7:00-8:00PM ET/PT). The network will feature an encore presentation of the special on December 15 at 6:00PM ET/PT.

Funky music, holiday magic and a supersonic sleigh are all wrapped up in this animated family adventure starring William Shatner as Santa. When a friend starts to doubt the idea of Santa Claus, 12-year-old Trevor and his friends set out on the adventure of a lifetime to catch Santa in action and reveal the true magic of Christmas. But they've got to find Santa before LeFreeze - a dim-witted monster that is carrying a serious 100-year-old grudge - and his snowman minions put Christmas on ice forever.

Gotta Catch Santa Claus is based on the 2005 comic book "I Gotta Catch Santa Claus" created by Trevor Taylor. Steven E. de Souza (Die Hard) wrote the holiday special and Taylor, now just 17, served as an executive producer.
