COOKIE JAR ENTERTAINMENT PROMOTES MICHAEL BERRETH TO VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING

BURBANK, CA (March 16, 2010) - Marketing industry veteran Michael Berreth has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing, it was announced today by Toper Taylor, President and COO. Berreth will oversee all of Cookie Jar Entertainment's global marketing campaigns and promotional programs.
"Michael has a long and distinguished career as a marketing executive with extensive expertise in brand management, strategic planning and consumer promotions," said Taylor. "His experience and successful track record make him the ideal person to head up this growing department as we continue to expand our brand portfolio."
Since joining Cookie Jar Entertainment, Berreth has managed a wide range of brands and marketing campaigns including tune-in campaigns for the CBS Weekend Morning block, third-party promotions such as McDonald's and the 2009 global re-launch of Strawberry Shortcake which has earned more than $3 billion at retail.
Prior to joining Cookie Jar Entertainment, Berreth held management positions with Disney, Universal Studios, Nestlé and Kellogg's. He has worked on a number of marketing campaigns for top brands including Pedigree® Food for Dogs, Disney's Winnie the Pooh, Universal Studios Hollywood, Nestlé® Raisinets® and Kellogg's® Rice Krispies Treats®.
Berreth earned his MBA from the University of Southern California.
